Cahoots Book Speaker app for iPhone and iPad

Cahoots Book Speaker has been purpose built to facilitate audio enhanced photo and picture books. Use Cahoots Book Speaker with custom QR codes to play audio captions, descriptions, and back stories relating to the images in your photo book. Play the ambient noise, vocal messages, or commentary, captured at the time of the photo.

Even use Book Speaker to facilitate your own DIY talking book for younger children. Record your audio rendition of each page, upload to a publicly available URL, generate QR codes and print them on stickers that can be attached to the pages of the storybook. A great option for remote friends or family members with younger loved ones that are geographically separated.

Using QR codes that point directly to any supported audio file that is publicly available on the web, Cahoots Book Speaker will download any supported audio file and immediately play it. Supported filetypes are .wav, .m4a, .mp3, .mp4, .aac, and .aiff. After an audio file has been played for the first time, it remains on the device for playback, whether or not the device is online.

Book Speaker has no configuration options is simple and responsive to use and has no ads.

This app will play audio as described. But is useful only when suitable QR codes that point directly to audio resources on the web have been already deployed. Cahoots Book Speaker does not have functionality to create QR codes or record or upload audio files. However, Cahoots offers services to assist in these tasks.
